Eternal Spirits Charter & Membership Requirements

Background and Expectations:

Eternal Spirits is an all-level guild dedicated to providing fun for its members while maintaining a close sense of family and laid back atmosphere. We ask that all members joining Eternal Spirits (ES) be helpful to other guildies who need help completing quests, obtaining gear, and reaching their player goals.

Through the camaraderie of its members, Eternal Spirits will overcome some of the tough adventures the game has to offer, and we will strive to maintain an element of fun within the game for everyone. Occasionally as a member of ES you may be asked to participate in some guild functions so that we do not have people just sitting back doing their own thing all the time. That being said our first priority is to work together as a guild to develop our characters and have as much fun as possible while doing so.

Guiding Principles:

Real life comes first - (The Golden Rule)
We strongly believe that it is important to keep in perspective that this is just a game, and that we must be respectful of our member’s needs to balance their involvement in our guild with their real life responsibilities. We will never frown upon, or penalize a member, for putting their real life first. We do ask that you give us a heads up about your particular needs and play styles so we can keep the guild running smoothly.

Have fun!
Again, this is just a game. We are here to have fun, and we do not tolerate attitudes and behavior that would take away from our member’s ability to enjoy their game time. As much as we love gaming and take it seriously, we are also here to have fun.

Code of Conduct

General in-game conduct:

All guild members must consistently conduct themselves in a friendly, and respectful manner. Please represent yourself, and your guild, in a respectable manner at all times while playing. We strongly encourage our members to work together and help everyone reach their in game goals. What you do while you wear the Eternal Spirits tag reflects directly upon everyone else within the guild. Members should be courteous of other players at all times. If a member acts in a manner that interferes with the smooth, pleasant operation of the guild, this may result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from the guild. Direct verbal attacks and abuse on guild members will not be tolerated you will have 2 warnings. After that you will removed from the guild.

Dealing with member issues:

It is everyone’s responsibility to report any actions that do not conform to code of conduct to an Officer. Without good communication we have no hope in solving, or assisting anyone with his or her situation if no one reports it! If you have an issue with another member or a dispute in which you cannot resolve take it up with the Officers immediately. We try to not deal with he said she said conflicts, Please get a chat dump of the altercation and email it to a officer or guild leader ASAP. We will not get rid of someone on clearly he said she said info.

Guild Communications:

Es does not require the use of any communication technolgy. But we strongly encourage it , since it can be used to enhance the overall game enivorment and community. Our programs of Choice are Ventrillo and Xfire. It has been found that using Communication type programs help raids and general grouping be alot easier on everyone. Even if your just listening to whats going on. Since you dont have to watch whats being said in a chat window .. And the party members dont have to take valubale seconds away to type out a warning.

Guild Requirements:

We are asking that members meet a few simple requirements so we can help everyone in the guild meet their goals. Since we cater to all types of play styles these requirements have to be met to insure a healthy guild and cut down on any problems that can occur from lack of communication. These guild requirements will not be a option. If you dont meet these requirements disciplinary actions will ensue.

As a Member of Eternal Spirits you will be required to come to the forums once every two weeks and sign in to at least view guild news. This is not an option but a requirement. If you are not logging into forums at least once every two weeks you will be spoken to by your officers or guild leaders. We have ways of checking this. You will actually have to log into the forums with your user name and password. So please make sure you setup your Forums account with the name of the main toon you use in the guild.

Also try and answer guild news letters, communications, and forum post when they come out so we know you are paying attention to things that are going on in the guild. This way you don't miss out on certain votes and events that effect you and the guild as whole. I didn’t know will no longer be a good excuse.

And always remember its just a game and have fun!!
